Accolades and appreciation have constantly been motivating factors for us, at Deccan, in our endeavours for excellence. Way back in 1986, we were the first in South India to be conferred with the Bureau of Indian Standards’ (BIS) certificate for bore-well submersible pumps. A decade later, we achieved the distinction of being the first in the country to be awarded the BIS certificate for open-well submersible pumps. Besides being recognized for our product quality, we have been the recipient of several awards for our contribution to humanity and society. Some of these prestigious awards include the Udyog Patra (bestowed by the honorable President of India), Lokshree, Udyog Rattan and Bharatiya Udyog Jyoti.  While our awards are key milestones to us, they also remind us of the journey ahead and the benchmarks that are waiting to be created.
